Saw the previous entry's business blog link and was more than a bit surprised.
For some reason I thought Realtors' business practices had to follow Federal Law - especially regarding the Fair Housing Act - but since I am not a member of the Board of Realtors, I may be mistaken. Also, it seems odd that a Realtor would be so opposed to the Americans with Disabilities Act. Wow....
Forget about this particular Realtor's misunderstanding of my words from the scriptures regarding Mr. Simplot's life (and his certain eternal life), I'm just more than a little perplexed at her business attitude, since I have:
* Been very open about where and when I have "blown it" with neighbors - even recently admitting so in a Readers View in the Idaho Statesman.
* Been very open to inviting people over to the tranistional housing company that I founded....and to the houses themselves.
*Been very vulnerable with neighborhood association(s)asking them to forgive our past actions and to partner with us to help educate neighbors about what is legally sancitioned and federally approved rights.
So, someone out there with real estate background, PLEASE feel free to either comment or...let stand what appears to be wholly inappropriate postings by a Realtor.
